"I recently purchased my first home from Jessica Ellis of ERA Donahoe Realty. As anyone whom has completed or is in the process of searching and purchasing a home in Southern California the market for buyers is tough competition. I began working with Jessica in the late Summer and had an excepted offer on my new home by Halloween weekend and was moved in time for Thanksgiving Dinner. As I previously mentioned, the process of finding a home in Southern California is competitive, I was in a particularly tough price range- competing with developers with the ability to place cash offers. Jessica, was readily available to look at multiple homes with me each week, alerting me via email and text when a new house hit the market, making sure I was scheduled to see each home with ample time to consider prior to the offer deadline- even when many homes were placed on the market for 48 hours or less. When the time came to make offers, Jessica guided me through the process of placing offers and counter-offers. She was able to work with sellers agents to give me an edge in the competitive market. This being the purchase of my first house, I was not aware that Jessicas work as an agent continues on through the entire process of my home purchase. Jessica served as a liaison between me and the sellers agent- insuring the home I moved into was in the best possible shape. She was in constant contact with the Mortgage broker and escrow company to insure a smooth process for my loan and closing- even interrupting her own vacation to be sure my final walk through was complete and keeping in contact with me during the holidays to insure my closing.
